Hello! My name is Skoryx. This website is for viewing my art portfolio and commission options.
My last commission opening was July 1st, 2025. Commissions will likely not reopen until 2026.

MEET THE ARTIST
I'm a biologist, ornithologist, digital artist, and oryx! Currently busy working on my Master's degree, but I like to draw cartoons in my free time.
I use Paint Tool Sai 2 and an XP-Pen 24 tablet. Traditionally, I like using Copic and POSCA markers. You can view my art on several websites. I'm pretty shy, but I love nerding out about birds!

Terms of Service

Below are my rules for ordering art, known as my Terms of Service.
My TOS covers: (1) what I can draw, (2) how to order and pay, and (3) art usage rules.
Please read carefully before commissioning me!

What can I draw?

  • Humans, humanoids

  • Anthros, furries

  • Animals, ferals

  • Original, fandom, and canon characters

  • Characters without existing references

  • Gore

  • NSFW (artistic nudity to pornography)

  • Most kinks/fetishes

  • Weapons, robots, and cars

  • Large muscles

  • Impersonating another artist's style

  • Complex mechas

  • Scat, vomit, vore, diapers, babyfurs, cub, or feral NSFW.

Ordering process

  • Interested in a commission? You can message me at any of my listed contacts. Describe the type of art you want, and send references of your character. References can be visual or text descriptions.

  • Turnaround times vary. Generally, I try to finish smaller pieces (<$50) within two weeks and larger pieces (>$75) within a month. Check my art queue for updates.

  • Depending on the art and your preference, I may share WIPs. Minor edits (e.g., pose change during the sketch phase, color adjustment) are usually free. Major edits (e.g., pose change during the coloring phase, changing outfits at the end) may have fees.

  • At the end, you will have a unique piece of art drawn with love! :D

Payment

  • Payment is expected either upfront or at the rough sketch stage. I accept Paypal, Venmo, and payments through Ko-Fi.

  • Full refunds can be given at any time at/before the rough sketch stage. Partial refunds can be given during later stages. If I cannot complete a commission, I will refund in full.

  • No refunds after a piece is completed.

  • Tips are appreciated!

Art usage

  • When a piece is finished, I may post it online. Upon request, I can keep commissions private.

  • I watermark my art. A non-watermarked version can be provided upon request.

  • You can do whatever you want with the result! Repost it, print it out, put it on a t-shirt, make your own edits, etc. However, my art is for personal use only, not commercial use.

  • Credit is not required when reposting, but do not claim it as your own art.

  • I love seeing what people do with my art! Please feel free to share your creations and customizations.

  • Do not use my art to train AI or create NFTs.

Digital art

  • These are my main digital commission offerings. Reference sheets and badges are located on different tabs.

  • Extra characters in the same drawing are +50% per character unless otherwise noted.

  • NSFW art will have a +20% upcharge to the overall piece.

  • Simple backgrounds and small animals, props, and accessories are usually included. Complex backgrounds and large props may be extra.

Don't forget to check out the "reference sheets" and "badges" tabs for more digital commission options!

Reference sheets

  • It's always an honor to be chosen as the artist for a reference sheet. I love helping bring other people's characters to life, or just giving them a revamp!

  • All reference sheets are digitally drawn and unshaded.

  • Reference sheets come with unlimited edits for a year in case your design changes.

  • Includes: 1 full-body, 1 bust, and 1 close-up.

  • Additional views, poses, outfits, etc. can be added to the ref sheet for extra. You can add as many as you want!

  • Character information and a simple background can be added for free.

  • Prices are for my "normal" style. My "normal" and "clean" styles are the same thing with different names.

  • Ref sheets in my "sketch" style are half-price.

  • If you want a reference sheet that is cheaper, you can get one in my sketch style instead of my normal/clean style for half off prices! My sketch style is looser and messier.

  • A basic sketch ref sheet includes 1 full-body, 1 busy, and 1 close-up for $25. Add-ons are extra, but half the price of the normal add-ons.

Traditional art

  • I'm a digital artist but I love drawing traditionally, too! It's a nice break for the eyes. My traditional commissions are cheaper since I'm a bit rusty.

  • Extra characters in the same drawing are +50% per character unless otherwise noted. NSFW themes will have a +20% upcharge.

  • Simple backgrounds can be added upon request. I cannot do complex backgrounds.

  • Pieces can be shipped to you upon request if you live in the USA. At this time, I cannot ship internationally. Sorry!

This is my digital portfolio, showcasing some of my favorite works and showing how my art style has progressed over the years! I used to post everything I created to DeviantArt. For a while, that site housed my portfolio, but I have since left the site. It is difficult to represent a whole year with just a few images out of hundreds I may have created, and it doesn't represent every aspect of my career as an artist.I haven't found a good alternative to DeviantArt to showcase all of my work, so for the time being, I tried to pick out some of my favorite pieces from each year. There are a lot of images on this page, so please be patient while they load.

2025
I moved to Alaska to attend grad school. I'm studying ornithology so I'm trying to draw more birds.

2024
I attended my second artist alley at AnEx. I also bought tons of new traditional art supplies, including hundreds of Copics and Posca pens!

2023
This was a great year! I participated in Art Fight, had my first artist alley table, tried Copic markers for the first time, and offered sketchpages as a new commission option. I also created a fursuit!

2022
I didn't draw nearly as much since I was busy with my senior year of college, but I found inspiration in nature and biology to fuel some of my art.

2021
Not a super productive year since I was busy working two jobs and was super depressed, but I cranked out a few things!

2020
Not the most productive year since I was battling depression and mitigating COVID while still in school.

2019
I was pretty busy with school but found time to draw occasionally!

2018
I introduced my "doodley" art style to the world!

2017
A great year for creating art! Unfortunately, I continued to underprice my work and wound up taking on a project with 42 raccoons at $5 a fullbody.

2016
To celebrate hitting 2,000 watchers on DeviantArt, I took over 100 free art requests. Later that year, I opened my Etsy shop and began selling physical art like buttons, stickers, and badges.

2015
I dabbled with some new software and learned to use Emofuri. I also made several models in MMD.

2014
I offered commissions for the first time on DeviantArt! I also learned how to do pixel art. When I hit 1,000 watchers on Deviantart, I offered 100 free chibis/pixel dolls/busts to celebrate.

2013
Switched from Sumo Paint to Paint Tool Sai. I finally learned what layers were!

2012 and before
I got my first drawing tablet in 2011 and started drawing in MS Paint, later switching to Sumo Paint. I also worked off of a lot of bases.
